Information we use

• Account information: your email address, account identifier, and sign-in/session information when you create or access a creator account.
• Competition information: player names you enter, competition names, schedules, scores, results, league memberships, and invitation codes. Club records include rosters, admin assignments, and branding. Player preferences include saved player names; performance statistics are calculated from recorded results.
• Purchase information: Apple transaction and product identifiers, account association, subscription expiry and refund or revocation status. Apple handles payment details; we do not receive your full payment card number.
• Technical information: requests and error information used to operate and troubleshoot the service. Hosting and authentication providers may process IP addresses and device or browser information.
• Support messages: your email address and information you choose to send us.

Optional voice scoring

When you turn on hands-free scoring, the iPhone microphone listens for scoring commands. Apple Speech Recognition processes the audio and may send it to Apple. Courtline does not store audio or transcripts on its server; it saves the resulting score changes. Listening stops when you turn it off, leave the scoring screen, or put the app in the background.

Why we use it

We use this information to authenticate users, keep scores synchronized, display standings, share competitions with members, verify purchases, apply plan access, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.

Sharing and service providers

Club admins can manage the club roster and competitions. People who join a competition can see its player names, schedule, scores, and results. Anyone with a valid invitation code or link can join, so share invitations only with the people you intend to invite.

We use Supabase for authentication, Resend for sign-in email delivery, OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for hosting and storage, and Apple for in-app purchases. Support email is handled through Gmail. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users.

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and sessions

Essential session cookies keep creators signed in and remember guest access to competitions. Guests receive a session identifier even when they do not provide an email address. Signing out or leaving a guest session clears that session’s browser cookie.

Retention and your choices

Account and competition information is retained to provide the service. Creators can delete their competitions in the app; this removes the competition’s player and score content from the active competition record. Limited identifiers and purchase or allowance records remain to prevent duplicate purchase use and repeated free allowances.

Contact thetechtroniz@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. We may verify your identity before acting. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations, purchase records, or fraud prevention; backup and provider retention may differ from active records. Account or competition deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription. You can manage your subscription through Apple.

Security and international processing

We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process information outside your state or country.

Children’s information

The service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.
